We all have It.

Potential – (noun) latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness.

Potential is something every human being is endowed with. We all equally have the same potential for greatness. The thing is, everyone has their own drive, character, etc. some rise to the occasion and work hard so they can reach their full potential. And others don’t reach for it because they see the obstacles in their path or everything’s good and they don’t want to feel the need to want more.

This post is for the ones that need a little push in the construction zone of potential.

• Work on yourself and keep your 👀 off of everybody else
  The reason I say this is it’s easy to get discouraged when you’re in the workplace and you do all the work and other people are praised for the little they do and your working and nobody seems to appreciate what you do. This is a very specific example. 😬 lets just say this recently happened to me. On the bright side, I talked to my boss about this and he acknowledged my dilemma as being sound. So he is working on addressing it. And now I just need to keep my eyes on my job and do it right. Because I want to keep my joy and not be bogged down by what others don’t do.

• Stop going down to the dump of failure and see things on the bright side.
  Easier said than done I know. But, think about it this way, if it were easy everybody would be great. It’s easy to quiet when nothing seems to work out. And if you have a horrible voice, I’m not saying go sing for the voice. What I’m saying is, if it’s your passion go for it. In a responsible way, of course. For example if you love music but just don’t have the talent of singing or playing an instrument but have amazing lyrics sell your lyrics. Pursuing your passion isn’t always as straight as it seems. Who knows maybe you’ll discover something better than you actually thought.

• Be the victor not the victim.
  To often we let circumstances and failings dictate our future. It’s popular to have the outlook that well if that didn’t happen or if this did happen, I would have it all. In reality life happens but what are you gonna do about it. Sit on the side lines or let the past be the past and start working on your future.
  That was a bit of tough love, but it’s true. We all have potential, the question is what are you going to do with it?
