The Lightbulb Moment

Hello everyone,
Don’t you love it when you have that lightbulb moment? I know I do! For example I was sitting around and it came to me. A new scene to add in my book. So, I tell everyone my amazing idea. And my sister rudely interrupts me, “I’m not editing it if you add another scene.” Its understandable considering I rewrote half of this story on numerous occasions and made her read every version.

MMMMMWWWWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Now, back to my point that Lightbulb Moment is one of the best moments for anybody. Unfortunately, sometimes the wires do not connect properly in the bulb. Who knows you could have drained all the creativity out of your figurative well of ideas.
So what do you do? I’m not sure! It works differently for each person. What might work for me might not work for you. Before you stop reading this; let me tell you what I do when I have those bla moments.
Read, reading helps me when I’m mentally worn down with writing. Going somewhere and watching people interact helps when I can’t think of dialog. To finish your manuscript you can try strapping yourself to the chair and writing until your fingers plead for mercy.

Just kidding. On a serious note, keep it up and don’t quite. Think of the creation of the lightbulb. If Thomas Edison quite we would be stuck with candle sticks, and this post would be the candle stick moment. It doesn’t have the same flow as The Lightbulb Moment!
