Hello everybody,
When you write a story what truth are you trying to tell? The reason I ask is, because most stories have an inkling of truth to them. The greatest lies in everything is the ones with a smidgen of truth to them.
With that being said what truth are you trying to tell? In other words what’s Your motive. Your endgame. Your Hustle.
For me it’s the expression of getting all my thoughts out. because bottling stuff is not good for you. It’s being honest and telling people something without telling them outright. Its teaching without being stuck in a classroom. It’s telling the secrets you know without giving away the actual secret.
That and it’s also fun. I mean writing was always exciting.
There are so many reasons writing is the greatest. But without an endgame a hustle a motive you can get lost in your journey of storytelling. Your character’s can lose their focus. You can lose your commitment. And that my friend is why every story teller must ask themselves at one point.
What’s Your motive. Your endgame. Your Hustle.
Exposing my weakness and turning it into a strength. Every character is struggling at something. That particular something is from my past or my present.

My stories always have a part of me in them. My motivation is to get myself out, I guess.
