Hello guys and gals,
I know it’s been awhile since I posted anything new. But I’ve been working on writing synopsis for my manuscript when I was hit with a problem.
Redundant phrases!!!
The first chapter I wrote the same thing in different ways. Its insane! At least I identified this though. So, as I go through the process of analyzing this story Its given me a cold slap of reality.
It will never be perfect. And sometimes standards can be too high. Now don’t take this and through your standard out the window but at the same time if you don’t reach your goal or your ___________ (put whatever it is your working on in the blank) isn’t at where it needs to be relax.
If you aren’t where you want to be, that doesn’t mean: Aliens in a galaxy far away, create a flesh-eating virus. To infect the world so they can take our planet and sacrifice it to the god of doom and gloom will happen.
Highly imaginative right!
That’s like our fears and insecurities. If I’m honest, my manuscript is something that I’ve never felt to be an a-okay story. Just like most things, but feeling lie. In life there are many things we don’t feel are good enough. They don’t meet our standard and we give up before we truly get started. Have standards and goals but don’t beat yourself up when you fall short of those goals.
With that being said, have a good day or night. If you want to add anything leave a reply, I would love to hear your feedback. 😉
Yeah, right. At times you get stuck up because you feel that the phrases get repeated more often. You try to avoid that and in that very process, you come across so many different words. Languages never fail to amaze me…. *Sighs*
By the way, do you write stories?
