Hello everyone,

That’s kind of how I feel at the moment. The process of developing and growing as a writer is hard. Sometimes it makes you want to hit the road. Unfortunately hitting the road will only lead to bloody knuckles. That’s really not my cup of tea.

How to get out of the funk?

That’s a good question. Look on the bright side, I kind of tried it but I still see the glass as half empty not full. Get a distraction well you can only do that for so long. Take a coffee break okay what about when you’re done with your delicious refreshment?

So what then?  What can you do to get out of your funk?

To start why not focus on the things you can change rather than the things you can’t!

Place your name and situation in the blanks.

I ________ might not be able to ________, but I can do ________! And if I do ________ it will help me with _______.

It’s like that TV show where you have impulsive cleaners vs non-cleaners. The impulsive cleaner is used to having control you place them in those filthy houses, poof there goes their control.

There are even times when they get so frustrated they want to quit. After four days are up the rooms in the houses are clean. So if those impulsive cleaners can make everything spick and span in four days then we can do whatever we need too. And believe me some of those houses are gross.

I hope this helped.
