Writer’s Block

If you’re reading this, it’s probably because you’re suffering from a condition called WRITERS BLOCK, or your just browsing random people blogs! All I can tell you is; I to have gone through this condition. For those of you that don’t believe, and blame WRITERS BLOCK on laziness, or lack of focus. I have something to tell you.

Your Wrong!!!

WRITERS BLOCK is when the ideas you have simply don’t flow, it’s when your creative spark withers away to nothing, when your inspiration comes to a screeching halt. But there is always a cure.

A couple of months ago I was at a Mexican stand-off with my story. I had this idea, but I couldn’t formulate a way in which it would flow together. So I started reading articles and post from random people I read books on writer’s block and they all said the same thing. Keep Writing even when it’s just snippets of random scenes for your story. Surprisingly, this worked. I was able to finally tie it together, and no longer had the need to bang my head against a figurative wall.

I’m now at 29,000 words, now you might be judging me for such a small amount of words. I’m just happy as I said before I’ve been working on this story since I was 16.

I’m now 22 and still working on it. One time I lost a version of it that was almost completed. Now I always have multiple files of my story so I don’t make the same mistake.

I hope this post helps you if your suffering from writers block. If it didn’t I hope it at least encouraged you.

Well that’s all for today folks.
